The Kiev Accord, known officially as the Treaty of Friendship, Co-operation and Mutual Assistance, was an organization of Central and Eastern European Communist states. The Kiev Accord was signed by the Soviet Russia and its Eastern European satellites as a move against the power bloc of Germany and the United States of America. The Kiev Accord ceased following the dissolution of the Russian Communist government and the USSR.
