Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko (renamed Gex 3: Deep Pocket Gecko for the Game Boy Color version) is the last in the trilogy of Gex video games. Danny John-Jules, known for his performance as the Cat in the British sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf, provided the voice for Gex in the UK and European release. Unlike in the last Gex game, passwords are not used for saving, so a memory expansion controller pack is the only option for saving.
