Former smugglers for Jabba the Hutt, they were forced to dump their cargo when they encountered a Republic Assault Ship, resulting in Jabba disowning them and placing a bounty on their heads. In response, they formed a small gang with the name of "Blood Karvers," smuggling independently. Former smugglers for Jabba the Hutt, they were forced to dump their cargo when they encountered a Republic Assault Ship, resulting in Jabba disowning them and placing a bounty on their heads. In response, they formed a small gang with the name of "Blood Karvers," smuggling independently. Eventually, Jett Worrap, the leader of the Blood Karvers, proposed a plan to raid the Bank of Coruscant. The plan failed miserably, partly due to the unexpected placement of anti-aircraft guns near the Bank, and partly due to the unexpected arrival of Anakin Skywalker. They each ejected from their airspeeders before their craft exploded, and were stranded on the streets of Coruscant, pinned down by the Coruscanti Police Droids, when they were offered a rescue by Kaffman in exchange for their service. They eventually agreed, and were rescued by PK-10. The Blood Karvers were the real inventors of "1337", a cipher of changing random letters to numbers or other symbols that resemble the original letter and intentionally misspelling words. Radar Spectros had adapted this code for the mission to the Jedi Temple in case they ever needed to broadcast on an open frequency, unaware that it would be used by someone else. Eventually, they added new rules to the language, and it became completely undecipherable by Imperial leaders that they encountered.
