Following several successful missions, the Flyboys had been investing in funds to buy their own ship. After negiotiating with underworld arms dealers, they managed to obtain discounts on a Strat-class cruiser. After purchasing the ship, Flyboys engineer Butch Horsin managed to use his contacts among engineering firms to swindle technician teams into upgrading some systems either for free or for a low price.
