| - The Mission to Mandalore, also called the Assassination of Mandalore, was an attempt by the United Alliance on the life of Mandalore to end the Mandalorian Revolution and turn the empire into a Republic. Trams Nylos was the master-mind behind the mission, planning every step and becoming the person to assassinate Mandalore himself. He requested a three man escort to aid him in case of guards. He got three of the best Freedom Spec Ops the United Alliance had to offer. The mission started in the middle of the night on Mandalore while Mandalore was being escorted from a conference to the capital building. The cohort of four Liberation Mandalorians secretly watched the seven Mandalore's Guards and Mandalore himself move through the city in secret tunnels and unknown detours. Once the stalked group were in the most isolated area, they struck. Trams blasted two of Mandalore's guards; then he attacked Mandalore with a melee weapon. The other Spec Ops soldiers attacked the remaining Mandalore's Guards, killing all of them covertly with no casualties. Trams continued to duel Mandalore with the Freedom Spec Ops watching from a short distance. Finally, Trams caught a break in the duel. He found a weakness in Mandalore's form and exploited it by tricking him. When Trams went in for an attack towards the head, he switch to jabbing the torso, but then switched to hitting the leg, and finally going back to hitting the head. The sword went right through his head, killing him instantly. The Mission to Mandalore was over, but the Battle of Mandalore was about to begin.
