When Goth and his Barbarians attacked the tavern and took a Patron hostage, Argeas offered to bring Goth anything if he would set the Patron free. Goth refused and killed Argeas by impaling him on a large spear. Later Iolaus fought Goth and as he knocked the Barbarian down, Iolaus told him, "This is for Argeas!"
