TK-422 was a Coruscant Guard captain in the new Galactic Empire. He was an excellent fighter and knew the streets of Coruscant almost as well as CC-1010, Fox, the clone commander in charge of the Coruscant Guard. Instead of using the standard clone trooper CG armor, 422 and his squad used old Imperial CG armor. He was a Human male, though there was some arguing over that because the New Galactic Empire allowed non-Human species to join. He was present on Seswenna during the Battle of Seswenna in 12 ABY during the Alpha Zeta War.

After the Millennium Falcon was captured, he was ordered to stand guard in front of the freighter's boarding ramp, while a scanning crew attempted to determine if anyone was hiding aboard the Falcon.

Segundos después de que los técnicos subieran la rampa, se oyeron varios golpes y alguien le pidió a él y a TK-421 que subieran para hecharles una mano. Los dos soldados entraron en la nave para ayudar pero encontraron a los dos técnicos tendidos en el suelo inconscientes y, antes de que pudieran reaccionar, les golpearon dejándoles sin sentido. Seguidamente les desnudaron y ataron, dejándoles ocultos en uno de los pequeños compartimentos de la nave. La coraza de TK-422 fue utilizada por Han Solo para infiltrarse en la estación de combate. Tras producirse un tiroteo en el Bloque de Detención AA 23, un equipo de seguridad se dirigió inmediatamente hacia el Halcón Milenario, encontrando inconscientes a los dos soldados de asalto desnudos y los dos técnicos. Tras intentar reanimarles a todos sin conseguirlo, fueron trasladados a la enfermería más cercana al hangar. El casco de TK-422 fue encontrado en el Bloque de Detención AA 23, y su coraza junto al acceso a un triturador de residuos averiado. Murió al estallar la estación de combate cuando fue atacada cerca de Yavin-4.
- TK-422 was the designation of a clone stormtrooper stationed aboard Death Star I during the Galactic Civil War. After the Millennium Falcon was captured, he was ordered to stand guard in front of the freighter's boarding ramp, while a scanning crew attempted to determine if anyone was hiding aboard the Falcon. Just seconds after the scanning crew had made their way up the boarding ramp, a loud thump was heard and someone called down to them, asking TK-422 and his fellow guard, TK-421, for help with a piece of equipment. The two stormtroopers made their way up the ramp to assist the then-unconscious technicians. Instead TK-422, along with TK-421, was stunned by Han Solo, stripped of his armor, tied up, and stowed in one of the Falcon's service lockers. His armor was then donned by Solo, who complained of the smell and speculated that TK-422 didn't wash himself regularly. His weapon was taken by Luke Skywalker. When a firefight broke out between the staff of Detention Block AA-23 and a Wookiee with two stormtroopers, a security team was dispatched to the hangar housing the recently captured freighter. TK-422 and his unconscious comrades were found aboard the Falcon. After attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, TK-422's fellow stormtroopers brought him to the nearest medical bay.
