The Book of Prophecy is the key to rebuilding a corrupt world. At the start of the game, the hero or heroine has a dream under a ruin in which the book explains its purpose and tells you what to do. All of the book pages are blank when you find it and to gather more pages, you must collect tablets or scan objects. Every object that can be interacted with has a code. The Book of Prophecy is hunted by many groups and requires four spirits to use its full power. Each spirit is bound in some way to the book to restrict its power. No one but its own and special individuals can see the book, its pages, or its spirits.

- Necrolai found the Book of Prophecy amongst the ruins of the Underworld after Leanbow's attack on The Master. It foretold of her finding the Inner Sanctum. However, before Necrolai could read further into the book, it flew off and was not seen again for some time. Later it reappeared, and Necrolai was able to read more in it. However, Serpentina plucked the book from the Vampire Queen, she read her destiny and allowed the book to escape once more.

Firmament shall take flight. The wheel of time shall fragment. Light and Shadow, sundered, shall clash.
All creatures shall be in chaos.

Generation to generation, members of my family inherit an ability to sense the subtle undulations of Aether. It grants a unique understanding of Aion's essence, its flow between air and earth.
I cannot explain these sensations--not sounds, not sights, but awareness--a vague, ethereal impression. I hear the ponderous strength of life abiding in the ancient starturtle's shell. I smell the mythology hidden in the twigtips of the Elim. I taste the lightning vitality of the Sparkie's arcing wings.
Then today, I saw. I stood at the end of time and I saw. I saw the future and I must leave here.
- The light dims. Footsteps hound me and eyes menace in the darkness. I come to write what will be to prevent what I write from coming to be.
Can the reader change the story? I am not this story's author, but rather it's first reader.
Thus rent with regret, I seek safety in shadow.

All shall be forever changed and Aether, our lifeblood, shall flow into its proper vessel.
