  • Mr. Q was a detective who lived in a penthouse of the 90 story Colton building with his German Shepherd, Satan, and his servant, Ying. Mr. Q was a master of disguise and used his skills to capture crooks.
  • Mister Q is a letter person from The Letter People. He is a scientist with an assistant named Bottomsley Upsdown. It turns out that alone, he has no sound, but he does speak up with the help of Miss U. He only appears in the episode "Meet Mister Q." Mister Q does not sing. When Miss O loses her voice, Miss U brings her over to Mister Q's lab. He has Bottomsley try out words that start with the same sound that starts "Quiet." First, they try a quill and use it to tickle Miss O's neck, but it does not restore her voice. Then they try a crown, but because "crown" doesn't start with the same sound, they decide (to the shame of Bottomsley) that it wouldn't work. Finally, they try a quilt and wrap it around Miss O, finding out that warming her up would work. Then to quiz Miss O, whose voice has recovered, they have her play the catching game. Mister Q and Miss U stand in the Starting Clue Box, Miss I stands in the Catching Clue Box (while holding the breve [short vowel sign]), and Mister L and Mister T stand in the Ending Squoosh Box (with Mister T holding the badge of cooperation).
