- Outfits worn by Lady Gaga are a mix of high couture designers, young designers from across the world and her own team, the Haus of Gaga. They created many of her clothes, stage props, and hairdos which she all handles personally. As of now, the Fashion Director at the Haus of Gaga is Nicola Formichetti. Her looks come from various period as she might be seen wearing some archive piece by a label designer or dressed in the brand new upcoming collection or even a custom creation.
- There are only four great modern styles. These are Couture, Glamour, Chic, Stylish and occasionally kittens, in that order. They supersede one another every "season" (a time period slightly longer than six months), at which time you need to replace your entire wardrobe, to remain fashionable. Engineers are permitted to totally ignore fashion, as the world so needs their creative output. Attention to appearance (and to unpleasant odors) would simply be a distraction.

- "Fashion" is a song by American recording artist Giselle. The song was written by Giselle and produced by Tony Visconti, and Contr0v3rsy for Giselle's debut studio album, Ultraviolet (2011). It was released on May 9, 2011 by Junction Records, as the fourth and final single from the album. The house song, has a similiar soundscape to Madonna's 1990 song "Vogue", while it lyrics talks about the love of fashion.

- Peel was evidently a strong supporter of their early independently released singles, especially their debut 'Steady Eddie Steady' which received plays over an extended period of six months prior to its follow-up in the summer of 1979. Appreciation was further demonstrated by playing both A and B sides of singles as well as featuring tracks from their debut album. The band's move to a more mainstream and funkier sound with 'Move On' in 1981 evidently failed to impress after a cursory play, with their sound and style more suited to David 'Kid' Jensen's show, for whom they recorded a session in January 1982.
