The album was nominated for a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album, but didn't win. It also won a 1997 Dove Award for Best Music Packaging of the Year, and was nominated for Rock Album of the Year, the song "God Is Not a Secret" was nominated for Rock Recorded Song of the Year, and the song "Take Me to Your Leader"'s music video was nominated for Short Form Music Video of the Year.
