Since then, John has been honored and privileged by being one of a handful of people who get to talk to the greatest living American on a regular basis. It is often the only reason John gets up in the morning. During a Check-In, The Daily Show is actually worth watching because of Stephen's appearance. Additionally, viewers are sometimes able to learn even more about Stephen, like the fact that he would like to be on the Food Network rather than Comedy Central. Since Check-Ins usually occur during the last 5 minutes of The Daily Show, Report viewers are able to watch most of the first half-hour of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor on the East Coast or Red Eye on the West Coast.
