The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a right-wing female fraternal service organization who are like the nutty Knights of Columbus. Formed on March 29, 1903 in New York by John E. Carberry and first known as National Order of Daughters of Isabella until it was renamed to the current Catholic Daughters of the Americas in 1921 and 1925, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas do volunteer work, are involved with charities, and hold the Virgin Mary as their patron. But don't expect them to be feminist or even liberal as they are like the Knights of Columbus in the theological and political areas.
