| - This was a rather awesome match for us FFX fans, considering Yuna wasn't even supposed to break 40% here. Then again there might be weird Samus/Ganon SFF in the 2005 stats, so who knows what Yuna's true value even was last year. Regardless, this was the easiest match to call in the Elite 8 and it played out as such. The only surprise was that Zelda didn't completely destroy Yuna, which plays into a few theories: Square vs Nintendo doesn't like to follow stats, FFX-2 boosted Yuna and Rikku, and characters gain momentum as they go through contests. I like that last theory the best, because we've seen some rather screwed up late-round matches over the years. It's also worth noting that Yuna didn't get completely buried by the Zelda day vote, and that this match was rather consistent. For all the "Zelda is going to SFF Samus" stuff that popped up during Samus's collapse against Tifa, this was the first match in which Zelda looked imperfect. I've also got nothing else, because I feel like being lazy after that long writeup just now.... plus the only TV I ever watch is about to come on, so screw you guys :)
