Metal boots are armour pieces in RuneScape that are worn in the Footwear slot. They are protective footwear, and can NOT be made with the smithing skill. All Metal boots (except White boots and Bandos boots) are dropped by Slayer monsters. However, Adamant boots are also dropped by Giant frogs, which are not Slayer monsters. • Metal boots are armour pieces in RuneScape that are worn in the footwear slot. They are protective footwear that are made out of armour metals and cannot be made with the Smithing skill. They offer more protection than most standard boots with the expense of extra weight. All metal boots (except White boots and Bandos boots) are dropped by Slayer monsters. They come in the following types: Bronze, Iron, Steel, Black, Mithril, Adamant, Rune, and, although it is not a real metal, Dragon. Also, there are white boots and Bandos boots.
  • The Metal Boots is an item in Haunting Ground. When equipped, the player's attack power doubles, and the chance of inflicting a power attack increases. The boots can be aquired if Fiona chose to spare Debilitas' life in the chapel's boss battle; which she can then visit him in his hut and he will give her the Smudged Key as an apology for chasing her. If the player chose to kill Debilitas instead, Fiona will not have such easy access to the boots; but it is possible - although difficult - to create the boots by synthesizing the Medallions in the machine room.
