Final Destinations is a short-lived television series created by James Wong, Glen Morgan, Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber based off the hit Final Destination film series which began with 2000's hit Final Destination directed by James Wong. The series first aired on January 14th, 2005 and last aired on May 16th, 2005. The series featured a bevy of talented writers/directors including Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer Marti Noxon, 1992 Melrose Place series creator Darren Star and Vince Gilligan and Michelle MacLaren of The X-Files to which creator James Wong helmed from originally as a writer.
