| - "Ya' can take that look of' ya' face roight now, missie." "It be a bit tight." The distinctly feminine reply was clearly trying to surpress a giggle. "Don'tcha think I know that!" The mock anger in Rorgor's deep voice showed he too saw the rediculousness of the situation, although he would have shaved his beard off before admitting it. 'Ere, loosen that strap there a tad more, that should open up the breastplate somewhat." Some grunting, and tugging later, and Rorgor finally sighed in relief. "Aah, much better. Hows' I look?" Brandishing his simple, but well fashioned axe, and hefting the large iron shield, he grimaced menacingly. "Ooh you be scarin' me, mah love. The Grobi will be fleeing fro' the very sight of ya'." Rorgor raised an eyebrow at his young wife, still detecting the faint trace of humour in the edge of her voice, but despite himself, liking what she said. "Aye, but they won't be fleein' far before they feel me' axe twix their scrawny shoulder blades." Suddenly Gorlene was by his side. "Ya' will be careful, won'tcha?" The laughter was replaced by a barb of sorrow. One that instantly wounded even Rorgor's stubborn heart, as only she could. He swallowed hard, his voice coming out even more gruff than usual. "Me' first oath be to you, dearest. I will return. Oathbearer's word and Grimnir's will, I will return!"
