The civil flag of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania (German: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), a federal land of Germany, consists of five horizontal stripes with width ratio 4:3:1:3:4: blue (upper stripe), white, yellow, white, and red. The state flag is the same, but superimposed with two hereldic figures of black bull's head and a red griffin on the white stripe.
