Elizabeth's office was a small room on the first floor of the great house of Collinwood. Elizabeth's secretary, Daphne Budd, spent her afternoons in this office making sure that all of the Collins business accounts were up to date. The white-paneled office contained a rolltop desk, a sideboard with a potted plant, and dozens of framed paintings and photographs adorning the walls.
