The Clergy of Cardia consists of a bunch of worshippers of Cardia, the God of Order. When Cardia was devoured by the Godslayer in the Cataclysm, the Remonian branch of the clergy reformed in the wake of the crisis of faith and renamed itself the Church of the Memory of Cardia while the main clergy lingered on in other kingdoms as a shadow of its former self. The members of the Clergy of Cardia were archenemies of the members of the Clergy of Mardük. In the Fourth Age, the clergy's influenced diminished greatly and was spiritually succeeded by the Holy Inquisition of Cardia. However, remnants of the faith survived the transition and coexist with the Inquisition while becoming less popular outside Valencia.
