Mister Dugan lives in Liscoo, Ireland with his son, Rory. While on the dole for ten years, he had hopes that Rory would amount to more than he himself had, and disapproved of his son’s attitude of despair. He seems to have been aware, to a certain extent, of the legacy of Cu Chullain (although it is doubtful that he actually knew that Rory was Cu Chullain’s reincarnation), and helped guide his son to seek out Cairn na Culainn ("The Hound of Ulster").
