| - Bring Me to Life è stato il primo singolo estratto da Fallen e il primo assoluto per gli Evanescence. Amy Lee ne scrisse il testo dopo che, casualmente, le venne chiesto se fosse felice della sua vita. Più tardi si scoprirà che la canzone è stata ispirata anche dall'allora conoscente (e adesso marito) Josh Hartzler. Sarebbe infatti lui la persona capace di guardare negli occhi di Amy come se fossero delle porte spalancate.
