The Menehune was Buzz-On's first undersized yo-yo, consisting of an undersized plastic body with inset aluminum weight rings. The Menehune, along with the Element X Pro introduced SPR, an interchangeable response system which combines the bearing spacers with the response pads. The Menehune originally came with non-engraved rings, but later versions had engravings. The Menehune's body design was also used as the basis for the ill-fated DV8.
