The TIE Purger was a unique type of TIE/LN starfighter similar to the TIE/sa bomber used during the fall of the Galactic Empire. In an attempt to remain intact, the Galactic Empire created a new ship that could sweep tons of ground forces from a planet's surface in an instant. These new TIE Purgers, which consisted of a crew that counted up to six, carried an arsenal of WMDs and homing missiles powerful enough to immobilize a corvette, along with three light turbo lasers and a long-ranged cloaking device, could do just that. Since the Purger had to hold all of these things, it had to be about as large as a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle.
