  • Magnedon (マグネドン Magunedon?) is a Kaiju that appeared in the third Ultraman series, Return of Ultraman. He appears in episode 20. Subtitle: Magnetic Monster (磁力怪獣 Jiryoku Kaijū?)
  • Many magnedons were killed during the Thousand Year War, though their bodies were kept in relatively the same conditions. Their metallic physiology prevented them from decaying, thus leaving them intact. The Thals used their bodies to recharge their hand lights. (TV: The Daleks) A magnedon was kept on Station 7 by the Space Security Service. (COMIC: The Only Good Dalek)
  • A Magnedon was a metallic, lizard-like predator native to the planet of Skaro. The metal pieces of its body was held together by an internal magnetic field. The creature was capable of sending an electric current across to a potential prey and kill it. Magnedons were used by the Thals to recharge their hand lights during the time when they were at war with the Daleks.
  • In the thousand years war between the Daleks and Thals, entire environments on Skaro were turned into petrified forests, with perfectly fossilized Magnedons preserved within them. The Doctor encountered one of these on his first visit to the planet. He theorized that in life the creature may have used internal magnetic fields to hold its body together and to attract prey of equally metallic nature. Petrified Magnedons are still used by the Thal population on the planet to recharge their hand lights Appearances: Doctor Who – "The Dead Planet" (first episode of "The Daleks" arc)
