| - The Choice Leadership Election 3890 was held in September 3890 to elect the second leader for the party and was the first leadership election for the Hutori version of Choice. Only the 415 Choice party candidates were allowed to vote in this leadership election and the winner would simply be the person with the most votes. As it turned out, Barry Farron won the vast majority of the votes, with 64.58% of the votes going towards him. In the 3889 election Choice made losses both in seats and votes, and incumbent party leader Tony Corbyn was becoming frequently less popular due to being seen as a weak leader. However the deputy party leader Barry Farron was more popular and had more support, thus early in 3890 Farron challenged Corbyn for leadership of the party. However for a few months, Corbyn put off a leadership election, however eventually he had no choice but to accept. Farron went on to gain the majority of votes, with 64.58 of the party being in favor of having him as the new party leader. Most of Corbyn's support came from many founding members of the party who retained loyalty to him. Most of the public backed Farron, as some media outlets pointed out the job seemed to be taking its toll on Tony Corbyn. Soon after Farron was announced the new party leader, Corbyn declined a position in the shadow cabinet or indeed the government's cabinet which included Choice as a coalition partner. Instead he simply remained as a standard backbencher MP for the party.
