He is just to be as two-sided as his two predecessors: seeking the harshest punishment for criminals who deserve it, but also showing leniency when given the right circumstances. Fowler first appears in first episode of the three-part tenth season finale, after meeting Washington for dinner. He is later taken into protective custody along with his family members following Keegan Cobb's threats on the lives of all of Washington's friends. Later, before Washington goes to confront Cobb for the final time, Fowler tells him that no matter what the outcome is, he was lucky to have a friend like Washington. Fowler is last seen with his family at Washington's funeral, and is said to be in the running for interim D.A.
