Robert Kirk Bowman (born September 30, 1952 in Leamington, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey left winger. He played junior hockey for the Guelph CMC's in 1970-71 and was not drafted by any NHL team. Bowman played minor pro hockey for two seasons. After his Hawks career ended in 1979, Bowman went to Germany where he played for five seasons. In 1984 he moved to Switzerland, playing four seasons for SC Bern before retiring in 1988.

  • Robert Kirk Bowman (born September 30, 1952 in Leamington, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey left winger. He played junior hockey for the Guelph CMC's in 1970-71 and was not drafted by any NHL team. Bowman played minor pro hockey for two seasons. In 1973-74 he was accquired by the Los Angeles Sharks when that team took on the Greensboro Generals (Bowman's team) as an affiliate. Bowman then played 10 games for the Sharks that season. In 1974 he was signed as a free agent by the Chicago Blackhawks. He spent five years in the Hawks' system, getting into 88 NHL games and scoring 11 goals and 17 assists. After his Hawks career ended in 1979, Bowman went to Germany where he played for five seasons. In 1984 he moved to Switzerland, playing four seasons for SC Bern before retiring in 1988.
