  • Edward Beck is an officer in the United States Army with the rank of Major at the time of the September attacks. At some point after the fragmentation of the United States, he joined the Allied States Army' s 10th Mountain Division. He is assigned to Jericho and New Bern in western Kansas as the region's military administrator in an effort to stop the towns' factions from further destabilizing an already volatile area. Major Beck makes his debut in 2.01 "Reconstruction." He worked for the Cheyenne Government for some time before switching sides in the season 2 finale. He helped stop the feud between New Bern and Jericho. Thanks to Beck, Heather was hired as liaison and Jake as sheriff.
