In the Queen Vic Arthur, Andy, Debbie, Pete, Sharon, Kelvin and Saeed meet to discuss the Fireworks display. After thanking Guizin, Sue waits for Ali to return to the Cafe before giving him a dressing down. Also on the Square Mary is given 'dancing' lessons from Sheena after she asks her about becoming a stripper. Den warns Michelle against taking motorbike lessons form Lofty after he arrives on a borrowed motorbike. Debbie infuriates Andy by asking Saeed about the shop after she hears he may be seling up. After Tony, Pauline and Ethel speculate on Nick's involvement in the recent break-ins at the Launderette and Surgery and Dr Legg is met with denial when he confronts him. Angie finds some golf clubs and believes that they are a present form Den. Following on from the previous evenings conversation Kathy is spooked when she catches Nick spying on her. Later that day Nick spooks her again asking her if she has given Michelle any advice on being a single mum. That evening Kathy and Pete have a blazing row after he and Simon turn up late again for dinner and she has thrown it in the bin again. Kathy storms out of the flat where she is accosted by Nick who admits to stealing her medical file from Dr Legg's surgery and blackmails her for £200 to keep quite about her giving birth to a child when she was only fourteen.
