Trent Kaese (born September 9, 1967, in Nanaimo, British Columbia) is a former professional ice hockey right wing. He was drafted in the eighth round, 161st overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Sabres during the 1988–89 season. In 1990 he went to Great Britain, where he played several seasons in the British Hockey League, including 1993–94 when he scored 119 goals and 106 assists (225 points) in just fifty-three games. He retired in 1995.

He retired in 1995. In 1997 he made a comeback playing for the senior Powell River Regals. He won the Allan Cup in 2000 and themn retired for good. In 2003-04 he was an assistant coach of the Nanaimo Clippers of the British Columbia Hockey League.
