  • Barkeep is the title of an unnamed owner of an inn on Regula IV. He worked at the inn with his daughter and was instantly suspicious of Gideon when he paid for drinks using the wrong denomination of local currency. His daughter later developed a sickness due to an Earth Alliance mining operation going on nearby and nearly died. He soon joined up with a group of colonists who were going to attack the mine facilities. Alwyn took action, to keep the townspeople from being slaughtered by superior forces. The Excalibur's medical staff was able to save her. Believing that Alywn had died, he promised Gideon that he would help the Earth Alliance find a new location for the since destroyed mine.
