Orbital inclination is the angular offset between two orbital planes. For example, If the orbits of two objects were coplanar, then the orbital inclination between those orbits would be 0. If one object orbited in a polar orbit, and another object orbited in an equatorial orbit, the orbital inclination would be 90 degrees. Orbital inclination is always measured relative to a plane of reference.
