I uploaded that version of the UE emblem some weeks ago because I thought it worked better than the current UE seal. (It's larger and the pattern's a little different.) Shortly after I uploaded it, though, I realize that it was a jpg rather than a gif, making the replacement of the UE gif more difficult, and I also decided that I was no longer sure it was a better image; I realized I really liked the bright yellow of the gif, for instance, though I still don't like the way half of it is in shadow. I forgot about it until I looked over my upload log. So, I put it to ye good people of Memory Beta: Should we replace the UE gif with the jpg, or should we delete the jpg?
