| - "Attack!" I scream. My warriors rush forward and I feel a sense of pride, but only for a moment. Emotion in battle can be used against you. But the tide of powerful RiverClan warriors under my command almost makes me smile as I leap forward, towards Redtail. But before I can attack, Tigerclaw flies out of no where, knocking me away from the ThunderClan deputy. Redtail's face is full of shock and so is mine I'm sure. It's not a rule that deputies fight one another in battle, but it's... a tradition. Tigerstar hisses, "Fishfur!" Then Redtail slams into me. I close my eyes, sighing.

I wait for Tigerclaw and I to hit the ground. As soon as we do, I spring up, spinning on one paw, expecting Tigerclaw to be one step behind. But he's also on his paws- and running towards me. I remember another fight, another day a long time ago. Same tom, different times. But now I may be the better fighter. I lunge at him, letting him dodge before swiftly changing courses, bowling him over, raking my claws down his belly as I do so. Tigerstar hisses, "Fishfur!" I growl, baring my teeth, "Get out of here squirrel brain. Sunning Rocks is RiverClan land." Tigerclaw bares his teeth, then his eyes slide past me, "Mousefur!" he yowls, bounding away to help a dusky brown she-cat who's loosing badly to Mistyfoot. I turn surveying the battle. My Warriors clearly outnumber the ThunderClan patrol. Mousefur, Redtail, Tigerclaw, and a small black apprentice who's name I don't know versus half of RiverClan. It's the perfect ambush. Then Redtail slams into me. I yowl in surprise, the two of us rolling over and over. Finally, we untangle and both of us leap to our feet snarling. Redtail immediately slashes out at me with unsheathed claws, backing me up under an outcropping of rocks. I almost want to congragulate Bluestar on choosing such a good deputy. But that might be slightly awkward. We circle eachother, still hissing and I register something. Below the sounds of battle and the hissing, I can hear something. Almost a...cracking. "Move!" I yowl, just in time. I shove a very confused Redtail out of the way, he turns, eyes widening as the ouctcrop of rocks turn into my tomb. I just hope he can tell Bluestar. I close my eyes, sighing. For a last battle, that wasn't very exciting.
