Known for their anger and smell, Norsemen (usually termed Scandinavians in post-12th century contexts) roamed Europe for thousands of years pillaging until they were satisfied — in the life of a Norseman, it was pillage for what you wanted and not what you needed. Their villages, or mounds of dirt as they now are known as, were so sickening that other villages in the surrounding areas were taken down and moved. It was finally in 1942 that the Norsemen were overrun by Nazi Germany. Following the war, Norsemen were sold as slaves and forced to work in sweat-shops in China. Norsemen have been striving for their rights for the past ten years. Finally on May 17th, 1993, President Clinton passed an act which gave Norsemen the right to vote as well as the right to leave the sweat-shops.

  • The Norse Men are a clan in the paraworld
  • Due to the overpopulation of Northvegr and Danmark many Northmen and Danes started moving from their homelands to amongst others the British Isles. Here there were enough land, and enough plunder for men to get rich fast. The Norse were mostly pagan in this time, and the rules for Vikings (Old Norse vikingr: some who goes on an expedition, a viking), did not ban one from killing and stealing from the Men of The church. This made them hated across the Christian world, which has in turn given us the view of vikings as barbarians.
  • The Norsemen were a primitive tribe that lived in a network of underground tunnels in the mountainous, frozen north of Canada who dressed in the style of ancient Norsemen. The tribe was involved in a fued with a rival group called "giants" over the Hammer of the Gods that the giants had stolen from them. When the Norsemen encountered a team of adventurers, they believed that one of the members was the reincarnation of one of their greatest heroes and wanted him to go on a quest to retrieve the artifact.

This made them hated across the Christian world, which has in turn given us the view of vikings as barbarians. Great heroes or legends like Ragnar Lothbrok inspired many to go out on Viking expeditions. After the King had been executed by King Ælla of Northymbre, the sons of Ragnar, the Ragnarssons that were looked up to as sons of a great warrior and leader, lead the Great Heathen Invasion that conquered Northymbre, East Anglea and most of Mierce, thereby forming the Danelaw (Rule of Danes). The Danes and Northmen were expert ship builders and seafarers, travelling as far as Vinland in North America to the west; Persia to the east; and Arabia to the south.

When the Norsemen encountered a team of adventurers, they believed that one of the members was the reincarnation of one of their greatest heroes and wanted him to go on a quest to retrieve the artifact. The giants proposed three non-lethal games to decide who should keep the Hammer but the Norsemen were correct in thinking the giants would cheat. While the games were played, the adventurers who didn't partake found the artifact on their own and a battle broke out between the Norse warriors and the giants. The Norsemen were truimphant and regained the Hammer, recognizing those who had helped as members of their tribe.
