She attended the Edinburgh Acting School from 1987-1997 before going to the University of Northumbria to study BA (Hons) Performance, where she gained a 1st class degree. Deborah then pursued a post-graduate diploma at Drama Studio London, and began her professional career in 2003 upon graduation. In 2004 she began doing voiceovers and narrations for companies in the UK and USA, and has been working steadily in that field ever since.
