McQuaid Jesuit High School educates over 800 young men in grades 7-12 and is widely recognized for above-average academic and athletic performance among its students. The school recently added a new field house containing a new gym, weight rooms, and classrooms. An interesting fact about McQuiad Jesuit high School is that Jeff Van Gundy, the former head coach of the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks of the, began his coaching career at McQuaid, coaching the McQuaid men's basketball team for one season (1985-1986).
