- Bob Riley is a former NASCAR driver from Norwalk, CT. He competed in ten Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Riley's debut came in 1980, when he competed at Pocono. Starting 36th in the field, Riley struggled to a 27th place finish after an engine issue. But he fared no better at Dover, falling to 39th after another engine issue. Riley again struggled in 1981, this time competing in three races. He failed to finish any of those starts due to mechanical issues and only hit the top-thirty once: a 30th place effort at Dover in the spring. Riley's three-race schedule in the 1983 season was also a disaster, again as the driver failed to finish a single race. Again this hindered his results, earning just a best effort of 29th at Dover. Riley's lone 1984 start came in the summer, when he competed at Pocono. Starting 37th in Bobby Wawak's car, Riley was actually running at the finish for the first time in his career, running 29th. But Riley's best race came in 1985, when he competed at Dover in his own equipment. Starting 29th in the field of thirty-two, Riley fell a number of laps down but still managed a career-best 14th place effort.
