| - I say tag since it's an event and not exactly a term, right?
- The reason I bring this up is because I've been doing the skeletons for the List of Status pages for each game, and a lot of them seem to list Darkness instead of Blind . I'd use those since I've been using FAQs for the names
- By the by, what's the policy on disambigs and whatnot with older names. For instance, let's take FFII for example with Restore , Heal , and Recover . I know if there was an actual article named Restore, the information would go there, but would there be a need for a disambig for an article or a need to move an article for a disambig if they aren't of the same version. I ask this in the event of the aforementioned Recover, which I don't know if we want to move Recover to Recover and make a disambig for the enemy ability or what...
EDIT - To add onto this, I know there's this thing about having things that aren't the same thing on the articles , so there's this thing with Stun from FFVI, and the Stun spell. What to do here? Either move the Stun article to Stun and make it a disambig for the enemy ability, or put the ability on the page???
- As JBed told me once upon a time, type the name in the URL bar, and it should bring you to what you need . For some reason now, redirects don't like to show up underneath the article names so you have to do it that way I found out : /
- The problem with translations
- Um...what are you talking about now? o.O??
- Probably something from one of the Legend games . That's all I can think of.
- Apparently in FFXI or something I guess. That's the only time I can think of it being a status.
- Alright, we need to figure out what we're going to do with these statuses. We need to know WHAT is the most recurring name for them, and fix these up so that things link to the right places, things aren't as confusing, etc. Because we've been using Blind a lot when Darkness seems to be what it's called, and the same seems to go with Confusion when it's called just Confuse. Stone/Petrify I'm not sure on, it changes every now and then, but seems to lean towards Petrify, and Paralyze seems to like being called Paralysis.
- Just a friendly reminder to you folks to please please PLEASE remove things from the list once you finish them. I don't know if some of these have been taken care of or not since they haven't been removed . So yeah....there ya be!
- And thus, we see why we should always use tags when articles are made! There's always that chance that something else will be named it later or already is! Oi vey....@_@;;
- What to do with some statuses? Some are tied to abilities, such as Cover, Defend, and Hide, while others have only one appearance such as Imp and Pig. However, adhering to the law that if there's at least one appearance for a status , then they should have their own page...
