During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance staged an attack in the system to capture clan leader Ilay, who was attempting a peace settlement with the Empire that would cost the Alliance the planet. When the Rebels succeeded in capturing the clan leader, they were able to repel Imperial forces at Nocto and fortify the sector.
