Although the ancient books and scrolls was eventually translated onto electronic forms, the House of Taral preserved the ancient writing for historical purposes. The estate also housed a great chamber in its uppermost dome, which was used during the First Sith Civil War as the home of the Phasas Council. Below this, the Taralian Guard were headquartered; with passageways leading to every corner of the palace. During the height of the Civil War, Ater Phasas'a's forces occupied the Taral estate at the behest of his fellow Phasasite, Taral, who was master of the estate. There, he recruited vast numbers of Tasipars population to his cause. After the First Sith Civil War, the Taral estate continued to be a center of Ater Phasas'a's government, and still housed the Phasas Council, which ruled separately of the Sith Council.
