The Kingdom of Lurberas existed between 1427 and 1879. After emerging victorious in the Lur-Arajni War, Zotan Aris proclaimed himself King of the Lurs on September 4, 1427 as Zotan I. He was formally coronated on December 25 that same year in Belzeku after successfully suppressing a small rebellion against him. It was an absolute monarchy for the first 155 years of its existence.
