Marcela was the second child of Holly Talon and Jaden Sithguard. Her parents split up before she was born, and consequently, she never knew her father. For this she blamed her mother. As she grew up, Marcela embraced the dark side, unlike any of her siblings. She blamed her mother for everything, including the death of her older sister Kara, all the infighting in the family, particularly with her aunts Zoe and Anne. She blamed her mother for the deaths of her aunt Kate and her cousin Lani. She hated her mother so strongly that she swore to oneday kill her. Marcela was trained as a Sith by a black-cloaked female answering to the name of 'The Shadow'. During her childhood, Marcela would attack her younger half-sisters, Lalaya and Izzy.
