| - The first league season kicked off on October 7, 2009. Herman Ólafsson of Nordenstorm United scored the first-ever league goal that day when Sven-Östein Haraldsson set him up for a shot in the penalty area against NVK Kaapstad Hornets goalkeeper Oskar Dietze just 1 minute after the opening kick-off. The Nordreich Liga originated on September 21, 2009 after Botha departed from IRON and re-aligned with Nordland when he joined the reformed Nordreich. There had been an earlier attempt by Baron Zemo to set up a national-based Nordreich Football League but it failed to get activated. Botha decided to try again in a club-based format - and during the week that followed, seven managers along with Botha signed up for the brand-new league:
* NVK Kaapstad Hornets (Botha)
* Italia (Junio Borghese)
* The Scimitars (Homer)
* Noordrijk FC (Nemhauser)
* Northern Reich (st6mm)
* Nordenstrom United (Baron Zemo) With the addition of The Scimitars on September 26, 2009, the league had the minimum six teams required and the Nordreich Liga officially became active.
* Scottoria FC (Norwood)
* Nordland (Kaiser Martens) By the start of the current season, only three original clubs remained in competition although two of them had undergone identity changes after their debut season: NVK Kaapstad Hornets, Dorpat Lions (formerly Northern Reich), and Zemo City Avengers (formerly Nordenstrom United). The Hornets dropped the NVK prefix from their name prior to the start of Season VII. In the inaugural season, all managers were members of Nordreich (2009) however interested non-members were admitted as managers starting in the second season. After a string of seasons with dwindling membership, Commissioner Botha announced on February 15, 2012 that Season X would be the final season for the league - after which it and its member teams would cease operations. However that threat was revoked a couple of weeks later after three new managers were brought into the league during the first few days of March 2012. Instead of the Liga facing closure, it now saw itself in its strongest position since its fifth season. However, early season optimism for the future of the league quickly began to sink in the face of management resignations during Season X. After three resignations between March and June 2012 and the inactivity of Langston F.C., the league soon found itself down to effectively four active clubs by the end of the season. Moenchengladbach then came under new management during the off-season after the conclusion of Season X. With a return to just 6 clubs, down from 8 the season previous, the Liga nevertheless managed to persevere through another off-season crisis and it hobbled forward into its eleventh season - although the Liga returned to 8 teams the following season and has stabilized its existence since then. Heading into the league's fifteenth season, the league saw expansion to 9 teams and its largest size since Season V. During Season XII Yosef Triestsch, fullback with Zemo City Avengers, became the first player in the league to play 200 career matches on December 1, 2012. Eleven days later on December 12, 2012, Thomas Kaiser, defender with Dorpat Lions became the second player to have played in 200 career matches. Also during Season XII Sven-Östein Haraldsson, midfielder with Zemo City Avengers, was released early on in the season on September 24, 2012 - at which time he was the last original roster player with his club and the second last in the entire league. With his departure, Kaapstad Hornets goalkeeper Oskar Dietze became the last player in the entire league from the original expansion rosters. On June 13, 2013 (during Season XIV) the league increase the maximum roster limit from 20 player to 23 players. Due to the effects of the Disorder War raging across the globe, on November 11, 2013, the Transvaal Springboks agreed with a request from their allied comrades in the Northern Reich to open up Loftus Versfeld to groundsharing the two Dorpat teams for the duration of the conflict. Both Dynamo Dorpat of Liga Mundo and Dorpat Lions of the Nordreich Liga relocated to Pretoria until hostilities ended and it was feasible and safe to move the club back to their home grounds. Starting from Season XVI the league went through a period of stability as there were no manager changes nor team movement. The league would remain at a constant eight clubs until the league's demise at the conclusion of Season 23.
* After the Nordreich Liga and disbandment After the resignation and departure of Botha from the Nordreich Alliance on October 4, 2015, the commissioner announced that the Nordreich Liga would have a name change in Season XXIII. On October 6, 2015 it was announced through a Liga Mundo press release that the Nordreich Liga would become the CN National Soccer League. The new name change took effect on December 4, 2015 as the Nordreich Liga was consigned to the pages of history. While the CN National Soccer League continued the historical continuity and heritage of the Nordreich Liga in regards to league standings and championships, new cup tournaments were inaugurated to also give the CN-NSL some distance from its Nordreich roots at the same time. Previously, Roman numerals were used to indicate the season number in the Nordreich Liga - starting with Season 23, the debut of the CN-NSL, regular numerals were used. The same eight teams which had competed in the final season of the Nordreich Liga made the transition to the CN-NSL for Season 23: Dorpat Lions, Golden Valley FC, Hells Cargo, Kaapstad Hornets, Vinland Berserkers, Zeller Athletic, Zemo City Avengers, and Zharr Nagrund Ziggurats. On January 21, 2016, an agreement was made between the league commissioners of the CN National Soccer League and League of Legends to merge the CN-NSL into the latter league at the conclusion of both leagues' seasons. On March 16, 2016 the league played its last round of regular season matches. After just one season of play, the CN National Soccer League submitted its official application to disband and join the League of Legends on May 20, 2016 with its eight teams accepted as new members of that league on May ??, 2016.
