The AALCT-1000 Anti-Aircraft Laser Cannon Turret was an Anti-aircraft Laser cannon turret of the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire, these AA guns entered service in 1,025 ABY and were used on Imperial Navy starships and in Imperial Army ground installations and on special AA trucks, like the Bíródó Felá-class anti-aircraft truck. These turrets were basically modified copies of an Anti-aircraft gun, since during the 11th century ABY the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire had "a thing" for copying historical weaponry and vehicles for use in their own imperial military. An example of a class of ship which used these guns was the Daanakaka-class cruiser.

These turrets were basically modified copies of an Anti-aircraft gun, since during the 11th century ABY the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire had "a thing" for copying historical weaponry and vehicles for use in their own imperial military. An example of a class of ship which used these guns was the Daanakaka-class cruiser. Army models were noted for having very little protection for gunners, with the open cockpit, AA gunners operating the AALCT-1000 were an easy target for enemy snipers, and when in combat against enemy aircraft, a priority target. Many Imperial AA gunners were killed using the AALCT-1000 by snipers, eventually the army model was redesigned and this time got an enclosed cockpit which had a transparisteel canopy. This made it look like navy models, many of which were given enclosed cockpits as they were on the outside hull of starships, however the navy also had banks of un-enclosed models within a ship's hull, where individual life support systems in the turrets were not needed.
