Maîtresse Cindy has realised numerous performances and video setups themed around sadomasochistic activities. Her eclectic and surprising interventions also brought her to do a scenographic work around « les neufs danses zygomatiques » from the choreographer Maria Faustino. To produce herself at Le Cent Quatre for the 20th Anniversary of Arte television channel, during a live-aired performance. In July 2001 she was invited by the fashion designer Pierre Cardin at the Lacoste castle, which once belonged to the Marquis de Sade, where she displayed for 1100 guests an adaptation of Sade's famous story, « Justine », in shadow play. « Abysses », a short movie realised by Maîtresse Cindy, was played in November 2008 at le Grand Rex, a famous movie theater in Paris, during a Gay and Lesbian festival. Maîtresse Cindy also appeared in numerous radio shows (for radio stations such as France Culture, Europe 1, France Inter...) and television shows (for channels like Arte, TPS, Télé Bocal...), and also in interviews about her work as a dominatrix and sadomasochistic scenic designer. She was finalist at the Erotic Awards during the Sex Maniac's Ball 2001 in London, in « performer artist » category. As a lecture speaker, she express herself at Paris Diderot University about subjects such as professional dominatrices and sex workers. She also attracted attention by putting on sale a BDSM scene on a public auction market, held by auctioneer Maître Olivier Collin du Bocage. The scene was knocked at 950€ in July 2005. Clearly an unusual dominatrix, Maîtresse Cindy took part in several musical projects with compositor Frédéric Acquaviva.. For example, the extreme project « artists residence » by Frédéric Acquaviva was aimed at getting immersed during two month in Maîtresse Cindy's dungeon to produce a work of art with sounds. During these two month of complete immersion (without leaving, nor seeing daylight as the dungeon is a basement without windows), Frédéric Acquaviva composed much of « Le Disque », a record played in world premiere at the Palais de Tokyo in December 2009. Many photographers collaborated with Maîtresse Cindy : Romain Slocombe, Élizabeth Prouvost, Gérard Feitz, Yan Morvan (Capa award 1983 and world press photo award) and Barbara Ryckewaert, as others. After a full year of work with Maîtresse Cindy, artist Barbara Ryckewaert set up a photo exhibition « Le donjon de Maîtresse Cindy » at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. Writer and poetry performer, she took part in many readings and recorded, for the radio show « Surpris par la nuit »produced by Alain Veinstein, « À mes bottes », a poem which was air played the 11th of September 2002 on France Culture radio station.
