The 2008-2009 Bowling Green Falcons women's basketball will be the 36th collegiate women's basketball team fielded by Bowling Green State University and will play their home games at Anderson Arena on the BGSU campus. The team will be looking to continue on their success after finishing 26-8 (13-3 MAC) placing 1st in the East Division and securing their fourth straight MAC regular season championship. The Falcons fell short of their fourth straight conference tournament championship when they were upset in double overtime by Ohio in the MAC Tournament semifinals. The Falcons were invited to the WNIT losing to eventual Finals runner-up Michigan State in the second round, 74–66.
