The most unspectacular Imperial Regent since the fall of Palpatine, Kyle Marion (25 BBY - 12 ABY), though a navy officer, was not a warrior. He was a man of compromise, peace, and deep thought. Unfortunately it often resulted in inaction, which angered the more ambitious Moffs and officers. In fact, shortly before his death he was on the verge of signing a lasting peace treaty with the Republic that would set their borders forever. But before it could be announced, He was assassinated during a galaxy wide speech by Damascus' agents, ending a solid, albeit unspectacular Imperial carreer.

Unfortunately it often resulted in inaction, which angered the more ambitious Moffs and officers. A close counselor of Regent James Ardin, Kyle was more about politcs than battle and his record as an Admiral was average at best. He excelled in the inner-working of politics and that was why Ardin thought he would be a good Regent. He did bring stability after the chaos of Gandel and Ferval but otherwise he achieved nothing except cedeing more territory to the New Republic. In fact, shortly before his death he was on the verge of signing a lasting peace treaty with the Republic that would set their borders forever. But before it could be announced, He was assassinated during a galaxy wide speech by Damascus' agents, ending a solid, albeit unspectacular Imperial carreer. He was only 38.
