Even Thrawn believed him to be a brilliant mind. This however did not stop the Rebel Alliance/New Republic from capturing Coruscant and his subsequent imprisonment by Emperor Triculus. He was then exile by Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side Kadaan for his aid in usurping Triculus' rule and assassination.
